Stonebrook Exterior is a privately owned and operated commercial & residential exterior construction company based in Lincoln, Nebraska, with offices located in Omaha, Nebraska, and Denver, Colorado. We specialize in whole building envelope solutions for commercial & residential clients, providing multiple trades or scopes of work into a single contract. The position details follow.
POSITION SUMMARY
You will plan, direct and coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
· Schedule the preconstruction meetings and budget the time required to meet deadlines.
Perform or contract others to perform prebuilding assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.
· Post bids
· Review project estimates through the turnover meetings/ Establish control budget
· Talk with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
· Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
· Review and execute contract documents.
· Explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
· Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the construction site.
· Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.
· Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods/ apply for performance bonds/obtain all permits and licenses that are required. Develop work orders and field books.
· Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
· Requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects.
· Implement training programs on environmentally responsible building topics to update employee skills and knowledge.
· Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: Two to ten years of related experience
Computer Skills: Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Project scheduling, Excel, and standard functions of transferring, saving and imputing data.
Certificates & Licenses: OSHA 30 Hour Construction and CPR/First Aid Safety training, preferred.
Other Requirements: Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
