What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equity Research Analyst position at Stonegate Capital Partners?
Stonegate Capital Partners is seeking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to cover public companies. The position will report to the Head of Research.
Responsibilities:
- Writing equity research initiations and quarterly updates
- Creating and updating financial models
- Monitoring coverage universe and relevant peer groups
- Communicating with C-level management teams
- Participating in quarterly earnings calls
- Business development outreach to potential clients
Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS degree required (finance, accounting, or economics)
- 5 years of sell-side experience
- Established industry experience in one of our core focus areas: Energy, Industrials, Technology, Healthcare, Mining
- Strong written communication and modeling skills
Qualifications (Nice to have):
- CFA
- Experience with S&P Capital IQ
- Existing public company relationships
Compensation:
- Contract basis, to be negotiated based on experience
