As a Stable Attendant/Barn Worker, you will be an integral part of our farm operation, utilizing core skills in farming, agriculture, and farm machinery to ensure the smooth functioning of our barn facilities. Your premium skills in animal handling, animal husbandry, and equipment repair will be essential in caring for our animals and maintaining the barn equipment. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stable and barn areas.
- Assist with feeding and watering animals, ensuring their well-being.
- Operate farm machinery for daily tasks such as mucking stalls and spreading bedding.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Handle and care for animals with attention to their health and safety.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks related to farm operations.
- Qualifications
- Farming and agriculture experience a plus
- Animal handling and husbandry skills
- Ability to operate farm machinery
- Equine experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
