Responsibilities : Position Purpose :
Monitor risk management of introduced broker-dealers (IBD), Prime Brokers and Direct Clients through programming, reporting and regulatory calculations. Market surveillance for risk monitoring of credit extended under Regulation T and FINRA 4210. Calculate hypothetical portfolios for potential impact to value at risk requirements and the collateral usage at various financial clearing and settlement facilities.
Responsibilities : Position Purpose :
- Prepare daily analysis of NSCC and OCC collateral requirements
- Generate, analyze, and distribute multiple daily risk reports
- Effectively evaluate trade failures compared to market risk
- Calculate firm and customer concentrations
- Monitor and escalate risk equity calls relating to portfolio margining under FINRA 4210
- Prepare reports and documents for senior management meetings
- Survey all market exposure to customer margins and proprietary inventory accounts
- Create and program critical data base reports
- Monitor intraday market fluctuations for equity deficiencies
