Computer Technician II
District Office - Priority location at Stonington High School
12-month position
Monday through Friday, first/day shift
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should have a strong understanding of computers as well as experience with hardware, software, and modern data networks consistent with industry-level 2 support.
Minimum 3-5 years of help desk or computer technician level 2 experience
Relevant industry certifications preferred, such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Sever , MCSE, or others.
Experience with Google Suite for Education and other educational technologies end-user support preferred.
Strong macOS and Windows latest operating systems experience.
OVERVIEW
To assist both educational staff as well as less experienced technical staff with solutions to technical problems including new or unknown issues.
To review and prioritize work order requests and manage time appropriately, to provide the highest level of customer service with a focus on the assigned building administration and staff satisfaction.
To assist in coordinating inventory, maintenance, and repair of all district computer hardware, networks, and software.
To escalate issues to supervisory positions promptly for resolution when unable to remedy.

Pay range $28.50 to $29.15
