STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking an Business Analyst to join our team!
How you will contribute to STORE’s mission:
STORE Capital is making a strategic investment in people and capabilities to develop advanced analytics that enhance decision making across the company. The Business Analyst will be responsible for sourcing data, creating actionable insights, and developing/using analytic models to accelerate growth and improve efficiency in acquisitions, underwriting, account management and recoveries. This is a high impact position working cross functionally with others across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate should be skilled in fundamental aspects of data analytics including data sourcing, validation, data analysis and scoring.
What will make you successful (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
- Proven analytic skills including data sourcing, validation, data analysis and scoring.
- Credit and Corporate real estate knowledge a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to derive analytics insights from raw data and contribute to the production of scalable economic decision systems.
- Intellectual curiosity to deep dive into the drivers of business outcomes
- Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
What most days will include (Primary Duties)
- Ability to create adhoc analytic datasets from source systems as needed and contribute to the evolution of the enterprise-wide data model
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
- Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Work with data scientists, finance team and others to score prospective and existing customers for expected profitability
- Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
