Responsibilities
- Program CNC lathes using G-code and other programming languages to create precise components.
- Set up and operate lathes, ensuring all machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using measuring tools.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Document production data and report any issues or discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator/programmer.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operations.
- Familiarity with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and quality control processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
