Position Summary

Seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations for a manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership to support operational performance, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive cost control and process improvement initiatives. The Plant Controller is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls while providing timely, decision-ready financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance activities for a manufacturing site
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
• Manage product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
• Partner with operations leadership to improve plant financial performance
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies
• Oversee month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Understanding of internal controls and financial compliance
• ERP system experience
• Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Multi-site or complex manufacturing exposure
• Experience supporting operations or plant leadership teams
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
