What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Storr Office Environments?

The Project Coordinator is an entry-level position that will either support a Customer Account Manager on large accounts and/or have account responsibility for small accounts or individual projects. Design and project management skills are required for this customer service-oriented position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design Responsibilities include: completing discreet work orders from order receipt through installation, completing small projects from programming through specification and installation, adhering to applicable codes and regulations, using inventoried and/or redeployed product, identifying opportunities for ergonomic assessments, aiding in maintenance of building and interior space plans and standards as appropriate.
  • Project Management Responsibilities include: supporting the Customer Account Manager as requested
  • Customer Satisfaction Responsibilities include: supporting assigned, external customers to achieve performance and survey scores to stated expectation and supporting internal team members to Sundown Rule stated response times. Additionally, responsible to build customer relationships to increase customer loyalty.

Customer Satisfaction Responsibilities:

  • Sundown Rule: respond to all inquiries, both internal and external the same business day. Compliance will be measured by exception.
  • Zero Sells: at or below .25% of revenue for assigned accounts, projects, work.
  • Satisfactory Customer Scorecards and Storr customer surveys: cumulative customer score at or above customer stated expectations. No Storr customer survey with a cumulative score below 7.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Education and/or Experience:

  • Four-year Interior Design degree from FIDER accredited university OR a combination of related four-year degree and a minimum of 1 year related furniture experience. Minimum of 3 years experience with AutoCAD preferred.
