FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facility in Abell, MD.

Job Responsibilities :

• Maintains and repairs Equipment including but not limited to HVAC systems, dehumidifiers, fans, and other Equipment within Story operated facilities.
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults within equipment.
• Creates preventative maintenance schedules to align with Cultivation needs and manufacturers recommendations.
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Training junior technicians for proper routine and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to travel to other Story operated sites to assist in repairs.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• 3 years of HVAC experience as a HVAC technician
• Understanding of advanced principles of Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as necessary
• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills.
• Ability to use a 12 extension ladder.
