What you will do:
- Scan and acquire invoices
- Have responsibility for AP email inbox
- In paperless software, review invoices, including comparison to delivery tickets, purchase orders, or other supporting documentation to verify price
- Learn about our cost code system and project teams, enabling you to code invoices and route them to appropriate personnel for approval
- Become educated on sales and use tax as it applies to our industry and review tax on invoices for accuracy
- Compile information for weekly vendor payments and print checks
- Help with month-end close process
- Evaluate monthly vendor statements and communicate with vendors to reconcile accounts
- Track and review credit card purchases
- Collaborate with your team to resolve issues and improve processes
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 2 years in a similar role with comparable responsibilities
- An ability and desire to process a high volume of information
