Your work will help farms, golf courses, and grounds operations run smoothly and efficiently. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on tractors, compact construction, mowers, and turf equipment
- Operate diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals
- Document work performed and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What it Takes
- Must own and maintain personal tools.
- Intermediate computer skills required.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to assemble equipment, perform maintenance, and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional overtime, as the shop may experience heavy workloads.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to digital communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams and email), which are commonly used for interdepartmental communication.
- Excellent customer service skills—able to understand customer needs and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Preferred
- 3 - 5 years of experience working on small, diesel, and gas engines.
- Experience with John Deere or other commercial golf and turf equipment.
- High School Diploma required.
- An associate degree or higher in mechanical systems or a related field is preferred.
