Position Description
Transportation Facilitator
Position Type: Part-Time (Salaried, approximately 60 hours per month)
Compensation: Salaried, based on 60 hours per month at $15/hour (equivalent to $900/month)
Reports To: President of Stoughton ATP
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and collaborate as part of a team
- Prior experience in secretarial work, dispatch, or scheduling is a plus
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle
- Clean driving record with no violations in the past three years
Position Summary
The Transportation Facilitator coordinates transportation services for qualified adult residents of the Stoughton Area School District. This includes arranging rides to approved destinations within 20 miles of the district or to other areas as designated by the ATP Board of Directors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule rides for eligible clients
- Maintain accurate records of ride requests, assignments, and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the ATP Program Assistant to provide necessary data and documentation for archival, reporting, and statistical purposes
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and training volunteer drivers
- Availability to fill in as a substitute driver when needed
Key Tasks
- Receive and respond to inquiries regarding transportation services
- Screen potential clients for program eligibility
- Match ride requests with available volunteer drivers
- Document all ride requests and the resolution of each request
- Submit detailed records of all ride transactions to the ATP Program Assistant
- Provide monthly reports to the ATP Board of Directors

- Reasonable time off is permitted for illness or emergencies; documentation may be requested
- Requests for planned, non-emergency time off must be submitted at least 30 days in advance and are subject to approval by the ATP Board
Performance Evaluation
- Initial performance review will occur after the first 90 days of employment
- Ongoing performance reviews will be conducted every six months thereafter
- Evaluations will include both self-assessment and supervisory assessment
