What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician position at Stoughton Health?
Stoughton Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Tech to join our surgical team on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining and preparing instruments and equipment for all departments in the hospital.
Qualifications include: High school Graduate or Equivalent. Prefer someone with post-secondary coursework in Sterile Processing skills and previous experience as a hospital Sterile Processing Technician. Sterile Processing Certification is required within one year of hire. Basic computer competency skills are also expected with this position.
* Full-time Days - Typical shifts Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. , 40 hours/week, 80 hours bi-weekly, every 3rd weekend on-call and every 3rd holiday on-call. Willing to hire someone who wants to work between 32 and 40 hours/week. Flexible depending on candidates needs.
