Job Details Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine sprinkler inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on electrical life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. How you will do it Perform routine sprinkler inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines, as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product line. Ability to report time accurately via the Velocity iPhone application, complete weekly timesheets and submit on time. Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. Complete customer inspection reports on time via the XAAP application via iPhone or iPad. Complete assigned inspections on time. Perform other duties as assigned What we look for 1-2 years documented experience in sprinkler systems. Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Able to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Required High School Diploma or equivalent required Demonstrate a high level of customer service Able to work well with others Self-starter who can eventually work with little to no supervision Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with Smartphone skills Able to follow verbal and written instructions Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 30 lbs.
