What you will do SimplexGrinnell is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation and service of a comprehensive array of fire alarm, sprinkler, security and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a qualified Truck Driver / Shop Tech in our Boston location. A professional driver is needed to receive incoming materials , pick up new orders and make daily deliveries of Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Equipment. What we look for Required: Normal working hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 PM with the required overtime to service our customers Daily deliveries of Sprinkler and Fire Alarm equipment Must have a valid MA drivers license Subject to a MA - RMV / driver eligibility investigation Must have a DOT medical certificate for commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs or pass the exam to obtain this certificate Must have experience driving pickup truck Must have experience driving a rack or box truck with a minimum of 12' cargo area Must be able to properly lift an array of equipment with varying shapes, sizes and weights.
