Job Title: Administrative Assistant- High School & Athletic Director

Job Goal: The goal of this position will be assigned responsibility for various school office functions in addition to high level secretarial tasks and administrative assistance to department staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings to include parents, students, staff, and community.
- Database management of all student athlete eligibility data & other database management systems as appropriate.
- Develop, implement and lead athletic functions & operations in cooperation with the Athletic Director.
- Manages online athletic rosters and schedules.
- Coordinates and prepares awards, letters, and events for celebrating student success (athletic and academic).
- Orders athletic letters, certificates, pins and other athletic materials for athletic banquets.
- Works with Athletic Director to arrange for and verify officials to work at athletic events via the ARBITER sports system.
- Support Athletic Director in the hiring and overseeing of gate workers and coordinates cashboxes for gate.
- Content manager for school athletic website including individual pages for each sport and all advertisers.
- Arrange and coordinate with the transportation department for various athletic functions and academic field trips.
- Support High School administrative functions under the direction of Building Principal and informal direction of Building Secretary.
- Compiles attendance data to provide to the Dean of Students.
- Compiles academic data and presents the data to the Building Principal and Assistant Principal.
- Weekly communication to all stakeholders under the advisement of the building principal.
- Updates the school website.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Bonding and/or Testing Required:
1) High School diploma or equivalent.
2) Minimum three (3) years clerical/secretarial/bookkeeping/account experience preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: Between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and 10 pounds on a frequent basis, occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, overhead reaching and fine motor activity, frequently sitting, standing, walking, balancing, reaching at desk and floor level, firm and simple grasping. The work requires constant seeing, hearing, and talking.
