Job Summary: Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is in search of applicants who are interested in satisfying a requirement to support an office with Army PEO Aviation as a Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities and Duties, Position requirements:
- Responsible for PM UAS policy related to Systems Engineering processes, artifacts, and reviews including the UAS Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Risk Management, Digital Engineering Implementation, Modeling and Simulation, and conduct of design/technical reviews across the UAS portfolio.
- Develop and update common standards (NATO, interoperability, industry, etc.)
- Establish and maintain technical processes guidance to include requirements definition, analysis, and validation, classic engineering V – implementation, integration, verification, validation, and transition processes, and agile systems engineering processes.
- Work with peers to coordinate on equities and communicate and collaborate with Product Offices to ensure application of systems engineering rigor with pragmatic cost, schedule, and performance tailoring where valid.
- Identify correct open standards for UAS Family of Systems; In maturing open standards with international partners; will be the PM UAS lead on multiple PM-UAS-Supported NATO groups to include the JCGUAS.
- Serve as a Technical Monitor for systems engineering projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Clearance: Must have an active SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior Army Aviation experience.
- Experience working with UAS
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education and Experience - 9 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Master's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Travel: May require travel up to 10%.
Security: U.S Citizenship and Existing Active SECRET Security Clearance required. Applicants selected will be subject to security investigations and must meet the minimum requirements for access to classified information.
Testing: Candidates may be subject to a written test as part of the candidate interview and selection process to demonstrate written communication skills and/or the ability to deal with potentially challenging notional situations which may arise while supporting a Product Office.
