Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reads and interprets work orders.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously; responsible for ‘on-time’ production.
• Inspects jobs for accuracy prior to sending to the printer/plotter.
• Provides proofs as necessary, determine best output method.
• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records.
• Minimizes scraps and waste by using ink, vinyl and substrates efficiently.
• Effectively communicates with all co-workers.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Logo manipulations, scanning, editing using FlexiSIGN, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Image sourcing: locates stock photos and understand copyright law.
• Understands resolution and optimal enlargement sizes.
• Performs daily and weekly scheduled computer backups.
• Assists with maintaining all equipment including computer, printer, plotter, and laminator.
• Attends all necessary meetings and training as required by management.
• Provides care and security for all company resources.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Experience working with computers, printer, plotter and lamintor.
• Familiar with FlexiSIGN, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with setting-up files for plotters or printers.
• Strong Attention to detail.
• Steady hand when cutting and applying vinyl. 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Can work independently and within a team setting.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures and work in a safe and productive manner.
