Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estate Planning Attorney located in Asheville, North Carolina. The Estate Planning Attorney will provide legal services related to estate planning, estate law, probate, estate administration, and business succession planning. The role includes developing customized estate planning strategies, guiding clients through probate and estate administration, protecting client assets, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws. The attorney will work closely with clients and, when necessary, collaborate with other professionals such as financial planners and accountants to achieve client goals.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Estate Planning and Estate Law
  • Experience in Probate and Estate Administration
  • Strong knowledge of Succession Planning
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to perform thorough legal research and draft complex legal documents
  • JD degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in North Carolina
  • Preferred: Previous experience in estate planning, elder law, or asset protection
