As a Maintenance Manager with Streamline Brands, you will be a key player in the success of our Franchise and Company-Owned Community. In this diverse position, you will assist our Build, Launch, and Growth team in a number of key areas in regards to facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the process of a number of projects ranging from consulting to full Capex projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like a maintenance ticketing system, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook. Attention to detail is required.
Ultimately, a Maintenance Manager will contribute directly to the success of Streamline Brands.
This is a remote, full-time salaried position with some travel required.
Responsibilities :
Assist the Build, Launch, and Growth team in the execution of all Streamline standards and processes with our Franchisees / Company -Owned School Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Management of maintenance and capex projects under $100,000 through the ticketing system
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
- Design and develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule to ensure that all procedures, schedules, and policies are followed, including putting maintenance plans in place for quarterly service on HVAC, DHU, water heaters, AED, and any other relevant equipment
- Managing work orders for maintenance and capex
- Putting together Capex project plans for all planned / unplanned Capex
- Capex and maintenance budgeting by location, including planned replacement of aging units
- Teach CPO classes
- Pool school training in-school
- Schedule both internal and external work maximizing planned down time and reduce unplanned downtime. Involvement in holiday shutdown maintenance schedules and plans.
- Franchisee consulting for maintenance and Capex
- Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed for locked doors, AED, emergency eyewash station, etc
- Developing and maintaining maintenance quality standards
- Annual maintenance reports
- Regularly scheduled calls with vendors assisting in maintenance matters such as DMG, SL Commercial Maintenance, and others
Performs other duties by coordinating work with outside inspections, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel, and other duties as required.
