Dental Billing Specialist

Job Description: We are eager to welcome an enthusiastic, motivated biller with a can-do attitude to become part of our billing team. Candidate must be solution and detail-oriented, and experienced in Dental Insurance as they will be responsible for managing insurance claims, processing payments, and ensuring accurate billing for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit dental claims (including narratives) to insurance companies.
• Post payments from insurance companies and patients.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Communicate with insurance providers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain patient billing records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assist office teams and patients with billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental billing and coding.
• Proficiency with dental billing software and electronic claims submission.
• Strong communicator and understanding of dental insurance policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies.
• Knowledge of Dentrix, Excel, (Denticon helpful).
