Fulfillment Team Member – 1st Shift
$17.00-$19.00/ hour.
7:00am - 3:30am Monday – Friday
Summary
The primary responsibility of a Fulfillment Assembler/Packer/Handworker is to assemble and sort any non- mechanical mail job in compliance with Streamworks quality control standards and USPS and UPS regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembles and sorts non-mechanical job components according to instructions:
- Affix pressure sensitive labels to appropriate mail components.
- Collates and inserts as required by job orders
- Matches and or/checks data of mailing components (i.e. letter to envelope and/or return mechanism)
- Checks quality of print and type of components to include all materials as required by job orders
- Folds letters or inserts
- Prepares bulk and single-piece mailings for shipment, including but not limited to: bundling, banding, traying, sacking and strapping
- Prepares UPS packages for shipment: literature and premiums. Works at the UPS station
- Works at the Pitney Bowes meter station: generates meter tapes for packages, seals envelopes and affixes postage.
- Prepares proper documentation and paperwork for postage calculation and/or job costing.
- Assists in the Lettershop area on an as needed basis
- Other miscellaneous tasks

- In this role you will be trusted with confidential information as well as protected health information.*
- Understand all of the information security policies that make up the Streamworks Information Security Program
- Use Streamworks information and other information-related resources in compliance with all Streamworks Information Security Policies
- Seek guidance from the Security Team on information security related matters that are not clear
- Communicate with the Streamworks Security Team regularly by providing feedback
Capabilities
- Manual dexterity, ability, knowledge and willingness to assemble and sort mail, at no less than 100% accuracy rate.
- Knowledge of sorting and containerization requirements for USPS and other selected carriers. Training received on job site.
- Knowledge and willingness to use correct and safe material movement and assembly techniques. Training received on job site.

Education and/or Experience
This position requires a minimum of a high school education or GED.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed instruction, short correspondence and memos in English.
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
- Ability to communicate verbally in English with other departments, and to successfully complete jobs.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations, as well as fluctuating variables in variable situations.
Computer Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly stand or sit and use their hands and fingers to handle mailing materials. The employee is required to reach with their hands and to talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include, but are not limited to close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate. All employees are provided with earplugs and encouraged to wear them. There is no food or drink allowed in the production area or near any paper work associated with mail. Employees are required to wear closed toed shoes. This job site is not air conditioned, however fans are provided. Footpaths around worksites and mail processing machines must be kept clear. Employees are trained and encouraged to take preventative stretching micro-breaks during production. The fulfillment production area is fast-paced work site with focus on efficiency and accuracy –talking is to be kept at a minimum because this distracts from producing a quality mail piece.
