Health or Fitness Professional

StretchLab is seeking experienced health or fitness professionals that have worked in the industry and know the body and how it moves.  Professionals who are passionate about helping others feel better and live life more fully.  And know how to make and execute improvement programs.

StretchLab requires a license, certification, or degree before entering our training program to teach you how to stretch.  We pay for the training, so we are interested in investing in individuals who want to grow with us.  We prefer you are willing to work at least 20 hours a week.  Evening/weekend work is required, but we're only open a half day on the weekends, and you would only work one or two evenings (as late as 7pm).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele
• Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

Qualifications:

• Love of fitness/health is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands-on training with clients is a plus
• Fitness or health related certification, license, or degree is required, and it must be current

• Certification/license/degree can be any of the following:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Licensed Occupational Therapists
  • LPN / RN (sorry, but not CNA)
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
  • Degreed in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics
  • Other wellness/fitness certifications or degrees considered individually
