POSITION TITLE : Metal Finishing Supervisor
Strongarm Designs provides the ideal HMI solution to healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical, food and manufacturing industries. We are diligently seeking to hire a candidate for Metal Finishing Supervisor in our Metal Fabrication Department. This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. This department provides solutions and fabricated parts to support our entire line of products including CleanMount, Vertica, Mobile Stations, and Suite-Stations. Strongarm is also looking for a candidate that will adopt a culture of continuous improvement (incremental change, and blame processes, not people).

JOB DESCRIPTION :
This position supervises metal finishing personnel in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. The Metal Finishing Supervisor’s role will include communication and coordination between these areas and our Quality and Engineering Departments. Reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Supervisor
- Instruct employees on procedures, practices, and standards regarding employee guidelines, safety procedures, quality procedures, continuous improvement, verbal and written instructions, schedules, and other Strongarm operating practices and company initiatives.
- Continually review and ensure that procedures, practices, and standards are being followed.
- Liaise and practice a high-level of collaboration with the Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure high quality standards and provide feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exercise disciplinary actions regarding company policies and operating procedures.
- Assist in scheduling of employees.
- Assist in ensuring the production schedule is being met.
- Assist in scheduling the training and cross-training of personnel.
