Security Guard 2nd and 3rd shift floater

General Description: Professional Security Officer will be considered in Marlborough and the surrounding area. Guard must have open availability.Will act as a visual deterrent on site, responsible for detecting and reporting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. Security Officer must be observant, punctual, responsible, calm, and able to de-escalate situations.

Essential Functions:

• Conducting foot patrols of site regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
• Conduct access control for vehicle and foot traffic
• Observe and Report
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows during shift and at end of shift
• Respond to alarms as required by client
• Create detailed Daily Activity Reports using company-provided software
• Provide a professional level of service to meet and exceed client expectations

Requirements:

• License and Reliable Vehicle
• 19 years of age
• Pass a Icori (background check)
• Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Excellent observation skills

Skills Preferred:

• Experience as a security guard and or Military/Law Enforcement.
• Knowledge of legal guidance for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Tech-savvy
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
• High School Diploma

Expectations:

• Ability to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to conduct interior and exterior foot patrols as needed.
• Dependable and reliable attendance record.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Customer Service oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
• Work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
