Summary: This part-time Food Service Worker position will require performing minimal cooking but will assist the Line Cooks and Chefs with the preparation of food. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepares and serves house-made drinks according to recipe and foods such as sandwiches, bowls, salads, and dressings according to specifications.
- Serves all meals according to portion guidelines.
- Follows and ensures compliance to both safety and security policies and procedures. This includes, confirming that kitchen tools and equipment are returned to the secure location; ensuring that the storage areas are locked; and ensuring that the keys have been returned and are properly secured.
- Operates grill, broiler, or deep fryer to prepare specific fast foods.
- Records temperatures of food, portions served and the use of utensils on the daily logs.
- Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.
- General cleaning in the kitchen and beverage service areas.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area after each meal service.
- Cleaning of the refrigerator.
- Sweeping and mopping of the floors after each meal period.
- Washing dishes, utensils, dining tables, and other equipment.
- Removal of trash and cleaning of trash containers
- Cleaning of walls and vents as needed.
- Organizes dish room area.
- Reports any maintenance problems to management.
- Utilizes slicer to cut deli meats. Must follow usage guidelines.
- Must utilize the first in and first out system (color-coding) when utilizing and storing foods.
- Loads and runs the dishwasher throughout the day, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
