We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Commercial Glazier to install,repair, and replace glass and glazing systems on commercial and high-rise projects.This role requires comfort and proficiency working at heights, including the use of swingstages, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other access equipment. The ideal candidate isdetail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining the highest safety and qualitystandards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, replace, and repair commercial glazing systems including storefronts, curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights, and interior glassPerform glazing work at heights using swing stages, scaffolding, boom lifts, scissor lifts, ladders, and other access equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specificationsHandle, rig, and transport glazing systems safely to elevated work areasApply sealants, gaskets, adhesives, and setting blocks per manufacturer and project specificationsFollow all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety policies, especially fall protection requirementsCoordinate work with foremen, project managers, and other trades on active job sitesIdentify and resolve field installation challengesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all timesQualifications & SkillsProven experience as a commercial glazierDemonstrated experience working at heights, including swing stage operationsStrong knowledge of commercial glazing systems and materialsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsKnowledge of fall protection systems, tie-offs, and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy glass and materialsComfortable working at heights for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand, climb, bend, kneel, and use tools for extended durationsPreferred QualificationsCompletion of a glazier apprenticeship program or 5 years relevant experienceSwing stage, aerial lift, or fall protection certificationOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with aluminum framing and curtain wall systemsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive wages based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable)Paid time off and holidaysOngoing training and advancement opportunitiesCompany DescriptionIncorporated in Hawaii in 1985, Structural Systems is a Hawaii Licensed “A” General Engineering Contractor, License #AC-13555.
