What You Will Do This position will support the Marketing and R&D functions within the Acute Care business unit as its financial partner. Primary responsibilities include financial forecasting, reporting, month-end close, business analytics, expense management, and ad-hoc analysis. Responsible for gathering information through various sources and preparing financial analyses regarding the business, operations, efficiencies, etc. Communicates analysis to influence needed business changes to improve financial position. Provides support for month-end close activities and global business unit reporting. Prepares budgets and forecasts and reports variances to forecasts to Management. Works closely with internal customers & cross-functionally (e.g. functional leadership and BU finance counterparts). Focuses on customer satisfaction by providing positive leadership, teamwork, and empowerment to solve problems in a consultative approach while operating with honesty and integrity to provide highly responsive and timely results for the customer. Continually improves the quality of financial information through ever-improving timeliness, accuracy, clarity, and transparency. Ensures proper accounting control procedures and systems are in place. Ensures compliance with established Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Corporate, Human Resources policies and procedures. Partners with Upstream Marketing and R&D in calculating return on investment in future projects, preparing Capital Expenditure Requests, tracking new product performance to plan, and identifying opportunities to execute projects in the most cost-effective manner possible. Partners with Downstream Marketing in sales promotion modeling, product hierarchy management, demand planning, and performance reporting. What You Need: Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP, Power BI, and Hyperion Financial Management preferred but not required. Travel Percentage: 10% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
