Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment for children, supporting their developmental needs, and implementing engaging lesson plans. Experience with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, as well as expertise in special education and literacy education, is highly valued. The Teacher will play a vital role in nurturing children's growth academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive classroom setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula tailored to diverse learning needs, including early intervention and special education strategies
  • Create engaging lesson plans
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management techniques
  • Conduct assessments
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
  • Ensure compliance with EEC standards and promote a nurturing atmosphere for all children
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early childhood programs
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
