Primary Responsibilities
- Running brake press.
- Conducting tests to support Business Unit and New Product Development teams.
- Regularly communicate test status and issues that arise.
- Assist in design, building, and supporting NPD needs.
- Utilize 6S principles and perform lab audits to ensure lab spaces remain clean and organized.
- Completing all necessary safety training and conduct STOP audits to ensure a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Brake Press operating/programming experience.
- Understanding of CNC Panel Bending equipment, Mechanical and Hydraulic presses, spot welder and/or automated spot welder, laser or brake press
- Sheet metal fabrication.
- CAD/SOLIDWORKS experience (2 years).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- Teamwork and good communication.
- Able to provide input on best practices for new part development.
