What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Assistant position at Substitute Teacher Service?
Substitute Teacher Service is looking to hire a Food Service Assistant(s) to work in Eastern Lancaster County School District. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, maintenance and breakdown of the cafeteria serving line, providing a clean work area for serving. Food service staff may be responsible for overseeing the collection of monies from students for school meals, provide quality customer service, and record keeping. Food service staff also works with other members of the Department/Building in meeting goals and objectives in support of the District mission.
Qualifications and Required Documents
- Pennsylvania Criminal Records check (Act 34)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance History (Act 151)
- FBI Criminal History Record (Act 114)
- Proof of a TB test or chest x-ray that is less than two years old
- Proof of a high school diploma or higher education (copy of transcripts/diploma acceptable)
- Additional required STS documents will be provided during on boarding process
- Signed Health Agreement form – will be provided by Site Supervisor
Hours: Vary
Pay Rate - $13.75/hour
