Position Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for day to day operations of overall store management of operations and employees. Daily responsibilities include:
· Maintaining and promoting store image
· Controlling labor, cash and food cost expenses
· Developing customer relations
· Recruits staff and oversees training program of all employees
· Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
· Responsible for local marketing initiatives
· Responsible for maintaining business records and growing profits at their store
· Provide outstanding customer service

Pre-requisites:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in QSR environment, experience in supervising and training staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional team building capability
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and willing to undergo background check
- Physical:
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed
- Operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
- Position requires bending, standing, walking and repetitive use of hands and arms the entire workday
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Position requires the ability to handle exposure to food and cleaning chemicals on an hourly basis.
- Must have the ability to work a minimum of 45 hours a week.
- Must have the ability to be on call 24 hours a day
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Completes and posts the staff work schedules weekly on Thursday by 5pm
2. Manages a staff of 4 to 20 employees depending on location. Assigns oversees and evaluates work. Recommends promotions, transfer or termination of employees. May conduct written and verbal documentation and evaluations when needed.
3. Communicates changes of Subway operations such as food preparation, formulas, promos etc.
4. Supports local and national marketing initiatives
5. Ensures that all local and national health & food safety codes are maintained
6. Ensures that all safety and security policies are followed
7. Controls food cost with accurate counts, verified waste and video journals to ensure theft isn’t present in their location.
