Several of our locations see exotic animals, including our feathered friends! Our top hospital, Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital, was the first hospital within our practice family, and also our largest! After 20 years in the community, with many of our clients being seen over generations, we are looking for a primary avian veterinarian to grow our exotic medicine at this location! With exotic animals becoming more and more of the norm, we want to ensure our standards of medicine are outstanding.

Our Chief Learning Officer (Dr. Joshua Gehrke, DVM, DACVIM), who is also a Board-Certified Neurologist is working towards ensuring complete and individual care to each and every patient, and maximizing your potential via mentorship, coaching, and CE.

Our Chief Medical and Wellness Officer, (Phillip Richmond, DVM, CAPP, CPHSA, CPPC, CCFP) focused on the wellness of our teams both in and out of the hospitals.   Nationally renown and certified in Positive Psychology, he is entrusted with providing a safe and positive focused space for each and every team member. 

Our Chief Executive Officer, (Thomas Bankstahl, DVM, CAPP, CLPP), the other Positive Psychology certified practitioner. He is our founder and visionary, and the inspiration for what we are building here at Veterinary United. Dr. Bankstahl is also an experienced small animal and exotic doctor, who still sees patients!

Along with our C-squad, the HUB, (including Finance, Marketing, Operations, Hospitality, Analytics, Medical Learning, and people operations), our Doctor Teams, and more, you are surrounded by a collaborative team that is connected at all times via Basecamp, a real time collaboration app that connects EVERYONE together!
