The Rental Manager is responsible for all resort rental locations, hiring, training, budget performance, inventory controls and select buying duties.

Who you are
- At least five years rental experience.
- Experience successfully leading teams, projects and employee performance management.
- Prior knowledge of current inventory control systems. RTP knowledge a plus.
- Previous experience as a buyer for rental related activities a plus.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Detail oriented.
What you will do
- Hire, train and continually conduct employee performance management for the Rental and Repair teams.
- Oversee daily operations of Rental operations including but not limited to; scheduling, timekeeping, training, opening & closing procedures, rental presets, group rental oversight, rental equipment testing, regulating discounts, managing online inventory and facility inspections.
- Manage and audit the compliance all of rental and demo paperwork processes and paperwork.
- Train, and oversee the equipment testing process for binding indemnification.
- Manage Rental inventory between multiple rental sites.
- Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable which include but not limited to; timekeeping, supply spend and equipment upkeep.
- Remain current on new industry products and trends and demonstrate knowledge of products.
- Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and employ skier services cross-training to maintain productivity.
- Conduct daily game planning meetings with entire team.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings with all employees under your supervision.
- Utilize existing RTP resources to assemble an RTP Rental POS training manual.
- Utilize RTP reports to determine productivity and maximize revenue. Set and measure KPIs such as average dollars/transactions, revenue per rental unit, fleet utilization, rental returns and overdue charges.
- Develop inventory procedures and loss prevention policy and practices.
- Develop a weekly procedure to effectively transfer goods between locations to perfect our rental model inventory.
- Quickly and effectively, solve guest inquiries and use best judgment to escalate unresolved guest issues to Retail/Rental Manager in a timely manner.
- Audit daily close reports and reconcile overdue items and open orders.
- Monitor and maintain quality and appearance of Rental facilities.
- Assist with Retail, cross train employees to be able to job share in retail when needed.
- Assist with Retail duties in the off season such as inventory, receiving and tagging merchandise.

- Must be able to work holiday periods and weekends.
- Conduct snow removal, daily litter management and assist with ski racks in the Judah Plaza.
- Meet Authorized Driver and Background Check requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
