Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team on a contract basis. In this vital role, you will assess individuals across a broad age range, including children, adolescents, and adults, with neurological, developmental, and psychological conditions, with an emphasis on mild traumatic brain injuries and dementia. Your expertise will help inform treatment plans and support patient recovery and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centered care, and innovative neuropsychological practices. Our practice provides all back-office support services for the clinician such as patient scheduling, insurance pre-authorizations and billing, and records. We also provide all test protocols and materials. Our office has very comfortable and modern furnishings and we are located in a Class-A office building with easy access to Hwy 59. We pride ourselves on providing our patients and their families with an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive functions, emotional health, and behavioral issues in patients with neurological or developmental disorders.
• Provide specialized assessments for adolescent and adult patients with mild traumatic brain injuries, dementia, seizures, medication-induced cognitive disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Stay current with medical terminology, records management practices, and evolving standards in neuropsychology to deliver the highest quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in neuropsychology.
• Post-residency experience working with individuals with neurological conditions.
• Proven expertise in diagnostic evaluation of neurological and developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, or other mental health conditions.
• Experience with a variety of neuropsychological test instruments assessing memory, attention, speech/language, visuospatial abilities, executive functioning, and mood.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication abilities for engaging children and families effectively.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, psychiatrists, and care managers.

• At least two years of experience in neuropsychology

Remuneration

• This is contract position. Remuneration is on a per-assessment basis, using a simple fee-split arrangement. The basic fee split is 50/50.
