Job Summary

The Equipment Intern will work closely with all the Equipment & Manufacturing team and will work directly under the Director of Equipment and Logistics.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preventive maintenance program & procedures with the Shop Manager
  • Oversee the pre & post trip program & procedures with the Shop Manager
  • Oversee the Trucking & Equipment Dispatch and scheduler procedures with the Logistics Manager
  • Participate and manage the 6S program for the Shop with the Equipment Manager
  • Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
  • Provide job assistance as needed.
  • Analyze telemetry data with defined criteria, create BI dashboards and communicate results (key findings) to Equipment Manager and Logistics Manager
  • Assist in the installation of electric chargers at various locations.
  • Oversee the monitoring and expanding usage of GPS equipment program. Track Tools, equipment usage
  • Ability to communicate equipment operating/maintenance issues via GPS and give feedback to Shop Managers & field managers as required
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Highly dependable individual with the capability to multi-task
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job satisfactorily
  • Must be self-motivated, display initiative, be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy
