The Equipment Intern will work closely with all the Equipment & Manufacturing team and will work directly under the Director of Equipment and Logistics.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance program & procedures with the Shop Manager
- Oversee the pre & post trip program & procedures with the Shop Manager
- Oversee the Trucking & Equipment Dispatch and scheduler procedures with the Logistics Manager
- Participate and manage the 6S program for the Shop with the Equipment Manager
- Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
- Provide job assistance as needed.
- Analyze telemetry data with defined criteria, create BI dashboards and communicate results (key findings) to Equipment Manager and Logistics Manager
- Assist in the installation of electric chargers at various locations.
- Oversee the monitoring and expanding usage of GPS equipment program. Track Tools, equipment usage
- Ability to communicate equipment operating/maintenance issues via GPS and give feedback to Shop Managers & field managers as required
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Highly dependable individual with the capability to multi-task
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job satisfactorily
- Must be self-motivated, display initiative, be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy
