Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining PVD coating machines as required
- Minimizing equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures and machine repairs
- Learn featuring techniques and orientation requirements for proper PVD processing
- Inspect quality of parts after the PVD process
- Verify oil levels, water temperature and gases flows
- Adhere to and promote all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Experience in vacuum coating a plus
- Knowledge of PVD coating a plus
- Strongly preferred candidates have previous experience operating metal grinding equipment
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow directions
- 1 years of CNC Machining
Work Environment
Well-lit and clean machine shop with moderate noise. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, and bending. Staff members will be occasionally lifting.
