Maintenance Personnel
Overview
We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Personnel to oversee the general maintenance / groundskeeping of our care community.
The right individual is self motivated with proven results.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Position are as follows: (this is not an all inclusive list, but gives a general understanding of duties)
- Supervising the daily duties of the maintenance department and keeping in line with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.
- Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs within the community, including painting, repair work, sheetrock repair, basic plumbing, basic familiarity with PTACS, carpentry and etc.
- Installation of new appliances as needed.
- Weekly groundskeeping as needed.
- Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.
- Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance budget.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
- Interpret department policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Experience
The experience requirements are as follows:
A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays- as the facility needs.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English; as well as, demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
