The Lending Program Specialist is a rotational position is responsible for providing outstanding member service through assistance to various lending departments on a rotational schedule! At the end of getting exposure to many different areas of lending, you are placed in a department to begin your career! Come be a part of something bigger at Summit!

Job Specifications

  1. Professional well developed interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff and members.
  2. Work requires ability to work accurately with figures and ability to perform detailed work.
  3. Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field (graduated in 2023 or 2024).
  4. Well-developed, professional communication skills, both written and oral.
  5. Must have or be able to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
  6. One-year direct experience in consumer lending or data entry preferred.
  7. Requires the ability to follow-up on problems presented to members and co-workers using a customer service approach including use of investigative problem solving.
  8. Ability to learn and apply basic knowledge of laws and regulations that related to lending.
  9. Detail-orientation and ability to focus and comprehend new concepts quickly.
  10. Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
  11. Comfort with learning and becoming adept at multiple technology systems quickly.
  12. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
