We are looking for a Dental Assistant to take excellent care of our patients. Our busy, family practice office is built on trust and teamwork. Dental Assistant's work directly with the dentist and the dental healthcare team to provide quality care for our patients at Summit Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you must be reliable and able to build trust with patients. If you love taking care of patients of all ages in a friendly environment, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Greets patients in the waiting area and escorts the patient to the operatory
- Reviews and records medical/dental history of the patient
- Take X-rays and dental impressions
- Pouring and trimming models
- Maintain documentation and chart notes on each patient
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient care with necessary instruments
- Provide educational information to parents/patients, including proposed treatment, aftercare instructions, dietary recommendations, toothbrushing and flossing instruction
- Responsible for sterilization and disinfecting of instruments & treatment rooms
- Maintain supplies and restock treatment rooms

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
