Summit Fire & Security, a member of Summit Companies, is a premier firm in the Fire Protection and Fire Life Safety industry. Providing services in Fire Alarm & Security, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Sprinkler, Hood Cleaning, Industrial and Rack areas throughout all building types.
***This position is responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of Pre-Engineered fire suppression systems and Fire Extinguishers'.***
Responsibilities:
- Assists, as appropriate with inspections, service, install and sales on a variety of fire protection equipment including pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, Emergency/Exit lighting, and other fire protection/life safety equipment equipment as skills develop.
- Previous experience is a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned or delegated
- Learn to follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Learn proper installation techniques
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Proactive approach and attitude towards work
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
