WHAT DOES THIS JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ROLE ENTAIL?
This junior accounting position will have a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 9 AM and 5 PM. As our Junior Accountant, you'll be an essential part of our financial operations. Your day will start with entering data into our accounting software and spreadsheets, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You'll process invoices, track payments, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure that funds are received and paid on time. Your role will involve performing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that our records match the bank statements, helping maintain the financial health of our company. Each task you handle contributes directly to the smooth operation of our financial systems, allowing us to focus on providing exceptional care to our patients!
All that we'll need from you is the following:
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Having previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus! A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is also preferred.
