Responsibilities and Duties:
- Effectively diagnose, solve problems and maintain HVAC systems in both residential and commercial applications along with having a good understanding of indoor air quality products
- Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, in residential or commercial establishments, to improve efficiency
- Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Effectively explain solutions to customers regarding their needs, while ensuring complete customer gratification on every call
- Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
- Keep and maintain inventory in your service truck
- Keep truck, tools, and supplies organized
- Be on-call rotation with other technicians for after-hours calls
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
- Highschool Educations or Beyond
- EPA Certification
- Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
- Able to go into hot attic spaces, crawl spaces, stairs, etc.
- Outgoing and personable attitude with the willingness to learn and grow
- Team Player and Positive Attitude
