What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight LVN/RN position at Summit Malibu?
Summit Malibu, a luxurious, prominent 6-bed detox/residential treatment facility is seeking a full-time overnight tech, EMT or nurse. Primary responsibilities are to assist with self-administration of medication and monitor clients throughout the night. A clean driving record and approval by the company's insurance policy is a requirement for this position. Kipu experience or treatment experience is preferred. Compensation DOE.
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 12AM-8AM.

Preferred Qualifications: Active LVN, RN, or EMT license, BLS certification, CPR/First-Aid, or RAD-T certification
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Observes and monitors while all medications are self-administered by clients
- Follow detox protocols, including 30 minute rounds and knowledge of detox meds
- Medication count, management, and destruction.
- COWS/CIWA assessments
- Communicate directly with medical doctor and psychiatrist
- Input doctor’s orders
- Intakes/Discharge
- Daily shift report
