Our new bar, Cocktail City, opens in a couple of weeks and we're very excited to offer specialty drinks, wines, and craft beers.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience working in a bar setting, is knowledgeable and able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Compensation includes $14 per hour and tips.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and professional manner
- Mix drinks according to recipes and customer requests
- Check identification of customers to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Keep track of inventory and restock liquor, beer, wine, and other bar supplies as needed
- Process payments
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements and Skills:
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regualtions
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking skills
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Relevent training certificate
