Sales Assistant – Fundraising & Merchandise Sales

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team and play an essential role in supporting our fundraising efforts. In this position, you'll interact with customers at fundraising events, help promote and sell merchandise, and contribute to the success of our campaigns. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy customer service, sales, and supporting a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting merchandise that aligns with their interests and supports our fundraising goals
• Provide product information, answer questions, and make recommendations to increase awareness of our cause and drive sales
• Process merchandise orders, including accepting payments and packaging items
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain satisfaction and a positive brand image
• Maintain organized merchandise displays, restock inventory, and monitor product levels
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote sales through events
• Stay informed about ongoing fundraising campaigns and initiatives to communicate effectively with customers
• Assist in creating a positive experience for customers, ensuring they feel valued and engaged with the cause
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize
• Passion for supporting charitable causes and making a positive impact
• Willingness to travel to event locations as this is not a remote position
