Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Summit Therapeutics provides quality, one-on-one, behavioral therapy for children with autism. Summit specializes in the use of tailored in-home, clinic, and community based ABA treatment. We believe in a natural and playful approach to ABA therapy which has helped our clients achieve remarkable progress in learning social and life skills.
Location: We are seeking RBTs in the Blairsville area. RBTs in this area work primarily in our Blairsville clinic.
Schedule: Ideal candidate is already an RBT. Currently we are seeking RBTs who are available Monday-Friday. Candidate must be available Monday thru Friday between 2:00pm and 5:30pm. New hires will begin as part-time and may increase to full-time with morning hours.
Compensation: $20-$25/hr based on experience
Applicants must have:
- reliable, personal, transportation
- experience working, teaching, or living with children with special needs
- a high school diploma or GED
- patience and the ability to “play”
- ability to work independently
- ability to implement feedback from their BCBA
- a willingness to learn
- ability to be consistent with attendance and attitude as this is paramount to our clients’ success
- CPR certification
- National background check
Applicants must have completed a 40 hour RBT course and successfully passed the Certification Board exam before working directly with clients. A job offer will be extended after candidates have completed a 40 hour RBT course.
Upon being hired, Summit will provide new hires with a competency assessment and assistance with registering to test.
New hires are responsible for all fees associated with obtaining and maintaining their RBT certification.
