Position Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Host/Hostess to be the face of Sun Bar and Grill. As the first and last point of contact with our guests, your role is key in setting the tone for exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and with a smile as they arrive
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide basic information about the restaurant
- Communicate with servers and managers to ensure smooth table flow and accurate wait times
- Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized
- Assist with to-go orders or retail items as needed
- Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions
- Handle guest concerns or direct them to the appropriate person with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to remain calm and friendly during busy hours
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
