Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic Pre-K through 8th-grade school setting in Brooklyn, CT. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, running from August 25, 2025, through June 12, 2026. Serving a caseload of 40 direct students along with supervision of two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, you will play a critical role in supporting students communication development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans for a diverse student population.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to progress monitor and adapt services as necessary.
- Provide supervision and guidance for SLP Assistants managing caseloads.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with district and state policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid CT 061 Speech and Language Pathologist license required.
- Experience in a K-8 school environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while providing quality services.
